Ansuz
I have heard this rune be called the God Rune. This rune is very close with the protection that Odin Gives his Followers.
Communication rune-From personal to technology. Both formal and Informal. Books words, pictures, art, sounds. Etc.
I find this rune to be connected to our anscestors and people we greatly respect. This rune has shown me how to connect to them and lead me information to my own past.
Sometimes in divination I have seen this rune show me that myself or the person I am reading may have a lack of Voice or authority. Speaks to much or to little. Or there Ancestors.
I hope this helps people!
The important things in life
A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter.
He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up the remaining open areas of the jar.
He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “Yes.”
“Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things – your family, your partner, your health, your children – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter – like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff.”
“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party, or fix the disposal.”
“Take care of the rocks first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

Not Waiting for Anything
When starting to practice, be eager like a deer trapped in a pen seeking to get out.
In the middle be like a farmer during harvest not waiting for anything.
In the end be like a shepherd who has brought the flock home.
Paltrul Rinpoche's Sacred Word quoted from Dalai Lama, How to See Yourself As You Really Are
Door way to Life and Death
The door I am going to talk about first is the door way of death and Life. Their is not just one doorway or two door ways.. No it is not that simple ... Not at all.
Here is an example...
Three years ago a Man's Wife died.. The wife did not pass away properly she is in limbo or still on earth. Perhaps you would say she is a spirit. Three years later the Man dies and when he dies he finds out his wife has been following him for the past three years.
He sees a door in front of him but not the actual door in the hospital. In the hospital this door is seen just as a plain door to the Bathroom... But to him the door is made of fine wood but it has cracks and its handle is cold. This door way was on the door was closed. He walked and when he saw his wife he pulled her to him and try to force her through the door... Why did he do such things?
The Wife struggled. She had learned that she could only go to her door and her door was locked... Was it locked because she was not ready or was it locked because she had something else to do...
The Door open and a strange shadow waiting for him but he called to the Wife to come instead of him.. Was it for her really? She pulled forth for the shadow had the negative vibe she felt so often now.. Thanks to her death she had become more of an receptive for such things.
But the wife of the ghost struggled and pushed her Husband into the Door. The Shadow screamed for he did not want him.. even though truly it was his door. But the shadow want her purity.. Her innocence or kindness. Later is was found to the Wife that her husband was cruel and was not what she thought he was... What was he.. well that is for her to only know. She still wanders .. Is she wondering due to finding her door or is she wondering to find something?
It was later said she found her door when she saw her door it was pure white and when she opened it she found herself opening her eyes and blood and water around her body was cold and she saw a bright light and she cried out and found herself looking into a women eyes as though she was the precious thing in the world.
We all have door ways the doorways to death are mysterious and yet not very understandable. Was the Man going to hell? Was the wife actually missing something for her to pas on.. Or did she had to wait the right time to be reborn? Death leaves us many mysterious. And from this we learn something and ask more questions because of it
Now you may disagree on this but take a moment and think if your own door way has a property you have yet to unlock?

SEA SALT
Sea salt is a common occurrence with me. I use it in cooking as well as rituals. Did you know Feng shui has connection to Sea salt?
With feng shui Sea salt improves stability and purifies chi.
The sea salt connects to our blood to our sweat and tears. Which is why it has such a powerful influence in our inner chi. The salt will draw in the chi in the room. Taking away any stagnant or stale chi.
Place a bowl of sea salt(Two table spoons in a small ramekin dishes) in north east or south west of you residence . Change every two months.
Sprinkle it on the floor(before you go to bed vacuum the next day or throw it out the home.). I usually use a bowl of sea salt to conjure the desire effects of using the salt.
Pan
Pan is the cheif.. He is Hermes Son. a noisy merry God, the Homeric hymn in his honorcalls him. But he was part animal as well.
Pan has Goat horns and Goat Hooves instead of feet.
he was the Goatherds God... And the shpards god.. And also gay(meaning Happy) compainion to the Nymphs.
When they danced.. All wild places were his home, thickets and forests and mountians. But Pans most Favorite place was Arcady...
Arcady where he was born. He is a wondeful musician .. upon his pipes of reeds he plays a melody as sweet as a nightingale.
He was always in love with one of the nymphs or another.. But he always was rejected supposedly because of his uglyness..(Intruth Homer did not describe how Pan Looks he actually looks quite charming.)

Mafdet
Unlike the other deities discussed in this chapter, Mafdet (or Maftet) was not based on lion or domestic cat imagery. As to exactly what animal she was there is some confusion, but she was certainly feline. Different sources claim she was a cheetah, a lynx or a leopard. Her name means 'runner', which seems to favour the idea she was a cheetah, but she is most popularly regarded as a lynx. Mafdet was certainly a ferocious goddess, as were most of the feline deities. In the Pyramid Texts, she is described as killing a serpent with her claws. The mere touch of her claws was apparently lethal to snakes. She reputedly leapt upon the necks of serpents and was also famous for slaying scorpions. In one instance, she is described as having braided hair, which could symbolise the bodies of scorpions and snakes that she killed.
There is little doubt that Mafdet is a very ancient goddess, predating both Bast and Sekhmet. The details of her worship have mostly been lost, although a representation of her does appear on a vase that was found at a royal tomb in Abydos, which dates from between 2950-2800 BC. It's likely that she is of African origin.
Mafdet is mentioned twice in the Book of the Dead. In one chapter she is reported as cutting off the head of a serpent, while in another, she is called upon to prevent the deceased from being bitten by snakes in the underworld. The following is taken from E A Budge's version of Chapter Twenty-Four:
'Oh Serpent! I am the flame which shineth upon the Opener of hundreds of thousands of years, and the standard of the god Tenpu, the standard of young plants and flowers. Depart ye from me, for I am the divine Mafdet.'
It seems that Mafdet can be either male or female, being referred to in different places as a lynx goddess or a lynx god. In our own group's encounters with this deity, he has so far manifested in our visualisations as male, a guide through the realm of shadows, an opener of the way. We have yet to ascertain whether this interpretation bears any true resemblance to original Egyptian belief.
According to 'The Witch's Goddess' by Janet and Stuart Farrar, Mafdet's titles are 'Lady of the Castle of Life' and 'Slayer of Serpents'. Regarding the former title, as far as we're aware, castles were not a common feature of the Egyptian landscape. Perhaps this title would be better interpreted as 'Lady of the Palace of Life', or 'Lady of the House of Life'

Nobody is to love
When you love, you have to become nobody. If you remain somebody, then love never happens. When you love a person – even for a single moment love happens and flows between two persons – there are two nothingnesses, not two persons. If you have ever had any experience of love, you can understand.
Two lovers sitting by each other’s side, or two nothingnesses sitting together – only then the meeting is possible because barriers are broken, boundaries thrown away. The energy can move from here to there; there is no hindrance. And only in such a moment of deep love is orgasm possible.
When two lovers are making love, and if they are both no-selves, nothingnesses, then orgasm happens. Then their body energy, their whole being, loses all identity; they are no more themselves – they have fallen into the abyss. But this can happen only for a moment: again they regain, again they start clinging. That’s why people become afraid in love also.
In deep love people are afraid of becoming mad, or going to die – of what will happen. The abyss opens its mouth, the whole existence yawns, and you are suddenly there and you can fall into it. One becomes scared of love, then people remain satisfied with sex and they call their sex ”love.”

Windows
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.
The next morning while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hanging the wash outside. "That laundry is not very clean; she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap."
Her husband looks on, remaining silent. Every time her neighbor hangs her wash to dry, the young woman makes the same comments.
A month later, the woman is surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and says to her husband: "Look, she's finally learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this? "
The husband replies, "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows." And so it is with life... What we see when watching others depends on the clarity of the window through which we look

Four Ingredients
The Gypsies say that the power of magick lies in four simple ingredients.
The first of these is the DESIRE/NEED of the practitioner. The stronger your DESIRE for something to happen and the stronger your need for a thing, then the stronger is the power that you generate towards that goal.
We can say, then, that the first ingredient (indeed, the first necessity) for successful magick is WILL . Along with the will for something to happen must go a certain amount of CONCENTRATION , the second ingredient.
It is no good doing anything, least of all magick, in a halfhearted manner. You must CONCENTRATION on what you are doing so that you can put that necessary will power into it.
There is no magick wand as described in children's fairy tales. There is no way you can wave a wand or utter a chant or spell, and FLASH! the thing is done. No; even magick takes time. Some spells can have effect within 24 hours, but most take longer. Some can take weeks, months, or even more.
So the third ingredient is PATIENCE . Do the work with the necessary will power, give it the required concentration; then be content to sit back and wait for it to have an effect... and it will take effect.
The final ingredient is simply SECRECY . Gypsies don't announce when they are doing magick, nor what exactly they are doing. They do it quietly, within the privacy of their vardos. So you, too, should keep secret what you are doing. By running around telling - perhaps bragging to - your friends, you are only weakening the power of what you have done.

feeling The LIFE FORCE
This is a basic energy exercise that was taught to me many years ago. It very effective and will help with you trying to make a psi ball.
STEP ONE
Relax
STEP TWO
Raise your hands in front of you just below eye level palms facing each other about a foot apart.
STEP THREE
Slowly push your hands towards each other about 6 inches apart and then stretch them apart back at where they were and repeat
STEP FOUR
Keep repeating till you feel a pressure. When you bring your palms together you should feel a resistance.
CONGRATZ once you pass step four. I usually do this for about five minutes a day. To allow my energy to follow as well as grounding.

Reiki Introduction
For me Reiki is both a personal experience as well as an experience that expands to others. Everyone can learn reiki it is whether we accept ourselves and the life force with in us and around us.
People will experiment and experience different ways of healing than myself. Some people learn to heal the same way as other learn to heal other ways. Some people use tools for healing as other use there own life force.
This is a devotional practice in my perspective though some people practice this maybe once. The more you practice the better you will be. Please make sure before trying reiki or working with your life force to understand the basics. The basics I speak of are of Grounding, Chakras, Meditation, Tools- Crystals, Wands, Etc.
Reiki can be defined as a board term for Universal Energy. Reiki in many text has been describe as "Less is More."
I personally have not gotten a single degree but have done studies and spiritual practices. And this is how I learned to heal. If you do find yourself lucky enough to have a reiki school or live teacher that is clarified to teach you and give you degrees your first degree will Be first all the way to third.
Why did I want to learn Reiki?
I did not want to learn it at first. I joined a coven on this site. My First coven. Healers of Light. Which is where I learned how to heal and other things. Was I taught it at first no. I actual felt the energy of someone healing me and I learned to mimic that. It is strange to explain but I learn from someone actually doing it to me. I study reiki in later years to become a better healer. I am no Third degree but Hope I can heal as well as they do.
I want to be a healer because i like helping others. Some people learn reiki not for the healing aspect but the spiritual aspect.
